CLEVELAND, Ohio — Kaitor Kay is always looking for “a new perspective.” A lifelong learner, he brought his insatiable curiosity to Cleveland’s 3 News Team in June 2023. His goal is to use his passions for knowledge, people, and media to tell meaningful stories in Northeast Ohio.
Kaitor’s move to WKYC is a return to his home state. A Cincinnati native, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Ohio State University, and a Master's Degree in Journalism at Ohio University.
His journalism career would take him to WANE in Fort Wayne, IN and KFOR in Oklahoma City, OK, where his Emmy and Murrow Award winning reporting spanned everything from severe weather to crime to politics to human interest.
In his free time, Kaitor likes to binge YouTube, read, and watch movies (he's seen over 1,000!), while also making time for traveling and tutoring kids.
