CANTON, Ohio — Stark County native Amanda Kloots has been announced as the newest co-host for CBS's 'The Talk,' to become a permanent fixture on the show beginning in January.

Starting January 4, 38-year-old Kloots, who has recently appeared on the daytime talk show as a guest host, will join veterans Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Carrie Ann Inaba for the 11th season of the show, alongside fellow newcomer and former Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Elaine Welteroth, age 33.

In an Instagram post announcing the news on Tuesday, Kloots, who is a Glen Oak High School graduate, thanked her new co-hosts for a warm welcome to the cast of the 11-time Emmy Award winning production.

"Thank you for welcoming me with open arms," the fitness professional, former Broadway dancer and Radio City Rockette wrote, tagging Osbourne, Underwood, Inaba and Welteroth, while also congratulating Welteroth on their incredible accomplishment.

"I am thrilled and honored to join this incredible cast and crew," Kloots wrote.

"From the very first time I guest co-hosted on The Talk I knew I was amongst a very special group of people. I look forward to starting on the new year with honest and thought provoking discussions, mixed with plenty of fun and laughter!"

In perhaps a nod to her late husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero who passed away from COVID-19 at the age of 41 on July 5, Kloots added:

"To end this year with this news, this special gift is unbelievable. My angel in heaven is certainly looking out for us."

Kloots, mother to their 1-year-old son Elvis Eduardo Cordero, famously chronicled her late husband and Hamilton star's experience with coronoavirus on social media, helping shed light on the impact it can have on younger people.

Kloots and New York Times best-selling author Welteroth will replace Marie Osmond, who left the show last season, and Eve, who announced in November that she is leaving the panel after three seasons.
