LOS ANGELES — Cardi B ends her three-year marriage, Madonna wants to take full control over her life story, and Paris Hilton could have been on another popular 2000's show. These are the top headlines around Hollywood.
Cardi B is now Cardi-free.
The "WAP" singer has filed for divorce from husband and Migos-rapper Offset after three years of marriage.
According to multiple sources, Cardi was allegedly fed up over Offset's repeated cheating throughout their relationship, and said in the divorce paper that the marriage was "irretrievably broken."
The couple has a two-year-old daughter, Kulture, and just recently purchased a nearly $6 million dollar property together in Atlanta.
Things are officially over, however. Cardi also mentioned in the divorce filing that there are "no prospects for reconciliation."
Madonna is making sure she gets to "express herself" with her new biopic.
The singer and actor is currently co-writing her own life story to be made into a film, and will eventually direct the movie as well.
If you have any doubts about the singer's writing ability, it's pertinent to know that her writing partner is none other than "Juno" writer and director, Diablo Cody.
No word yet on when the film- which will be produced by Universal Studios- will debut, but it's certainly going to be one to watch.
And everyone knows that Paris Hilton was an icon on "The Simple Life," but not many were aware she could have been an icon on another 2000's show as well.
During a recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," the heiress told Andy Cohen that not only did "The Hills" want her own their show, they asked her several times.
According to Hilton, producers of "The Hills" approached her "multiple times" which she turned down repeatedly because she had no interest.
Seeing as the cast of that show can now hardly stand to all be in a room together, she may have dodged a bullet with that one.
