BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Another Northeast Ohio eatery is offering help for patrons who may have gift cards from the recently shuttered Greenhouse Tavern.
Rosso Italia is offering 30% off to diners who subscribe to their email newsletter in exchange for Greenhouse Tavern gift cards. The offer is good only to Rosso Italia and Blu, the Restaurant newsletter subscribers through Feb. 29.

Akron steak and seafood restaurant Alexander Pierce is also honoring Greenhouse Tavern gift cards for half value through March 15.
Greenhouse Tavern, which closed last weekend, is the third of chef Jonathon Sawyer's eateries to shutter its doors since January 2019. Trentina closed in January 2019, while Noodlecat at Westlake's Crocker Park closed last month.
Sawyer's Van Aken District restaurant, called Sawyer's, opened in Shaker Heights last fall. The chef also shifted south to Columbus, where he opened SeeSaw, a partnership with former Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis.
