Great Lakes Brewing Co. to close brewpub temporarily for remodeling

The brewery's website says diners can expect "new looks, new flavors, and new experiences."

CLEVELAND — Now that Christmas Ale season has subsided, Great Lakes Brewing Co. is ready to make some changes.

The brewery's Ohio City flagship brewpub will close temporarily starting Sunday, Jan. 26. It will remain closed through mid-February for a kitchen expansion and dining renovations.

The brewery's website says diners can expect "new looks, new flavors, and new experiences."

The brand says it intends to "maintain the unique elements and history that make our pub special." It also says the brewery will continue operations and the gift shop will remain open during renovations. The tasting room will also host a number of public events, while brewery tours will resume Feb. 14.

An official reopening date will be announced on Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s social media pages.
