Boiler 65 brings southern seafood fare to Cleveland's Gordon Square: NorthEATS Ohio

3News' Austin Love takes us on a food tour of this Gordon Square spot.

CLEVELAND — Boiler 65 is a southern seafood getaway with servings of biblical proportions.

Located off Detroit Road in Gordon Square, it’s a slice of New Orleans right here in Cleveland.

It’s a neighborhood that general manager Team Ny and his family moved to when they first came to America from Thailand.

“We thought it would be a great spot to open a restaurant,” Ny said.

Ny found his love for seafood in the Navy while stationed in Louisiana. When he came back to Northeast Ohio, he knew he had to bring the flavor back with him.

“We always loved seafood.”

It’s a family run spot that serves family size portions. From their mega cocktail buckets to their family sized dinners. Some of their fan favorites include, fried green tomatoes, seared salmon and catfish bites.

But it doesn’t get any more family style than their signature seafood bags. Each bag holds three pounds of goodness like crab, shrimp and crawfish along with potatoes and corn.

The Gordon Square location is open from 3-11 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Friday- Saturday they are open from noon to 11 p.m. and noon to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
