Dwyane Wade supports his transgender daughter, Eminem clears up Oscar confusion, & Kaitlyn Bristowe's IG dress fail: Pop Break on What's New

The former Bachelorette and reality star got a dose of reality after buying a dress she found on an Instagram ad

CLEVELAND — In Tuesday's "Pop Break" on What's New, digital anchor Stephanie Haney discusses how Kaitlyn Bristowe was tricked by a sponsored instagram post, why Eminem decided to perform Lose Yourself 17 years after its Oscar win, and how Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union are standing by their transgender daughter.

Basketball legend Dwyane Wade sat down with Ellen on Tuesday's show to discuss how he feels after his daughter, Zaya (born Zion), came out to him and Gabrielle Union as transgender.

In the interview, Wade tells Ellen about the importance of supporting and loving their daughter through this process and how proud he and Union are to have a child in the LGBTQ+ community. You can watch the full interview with Ellen and Wade below:

Eminem finally discusses the performance at the Oscars that had everyone scratching their heads. The rapper sat down with Variety to tell the world about why he chose to perform his award winning song 18 years after the film "8 Mile" was released.

"I kinda figured maybe since I didn’t get a chance to do it at the time, maybe it would be cool. Back then, I never even thought that I had a chance to win, and we had just performed “Lose Yourself” on the Grammys with the Roots a couple of weeks before the Oscars, so we didn’t think it was a good idea. And also, back at that time, the younger me didn’t really feel like a show like that would understand me" the rapper said in the exclusive interview.

Eminem also tweeted out a video of Barbara Streisand announcing "Lose Yourself" winning from the 2003 Academy Awards with the caption, "Look, if you had another shot, another opportunity... Thanks for having me @TheAcademy. Sorry it took me 18 years to get here."

Former Bachelorette star Kaitlyn Bristowe experienced the downfall of buying a product from Instagram, in a series of Instagram stories on Monday night. The reality star and podcast host purchased a dress from a sponsored Instagram post and unsurprisingly received a product that was very different.

The dress, which Bristowe says she purchased for $20, was from an online boutique called keepfay.com.

Bristowe and fans alike got a good laugh out of the whole situation, and one fan even said, "#TheBachelor was great and all, but the highlight of my night was watching @KaitlynBristowe's Instagram story."

No worries though, Bristowe found a good use for the dress, cleaning her dining room table with it in a video posted to her story on Monday night.
