3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio: Taste of Tremont, Greek Festival, and Brew at the Akron Zoo

Get out and explore all that Northeast Ohio has to offer this weekend!

CLEVELAND — Have you lived in Northeast Ohio forever, or maybe you're new to the area? Whatever your story, the region has tons to offer when it comes to experiences and adventures.

However, at times it can be hard to find and narrow down the best ways to spend your time. That's where I come in.

Normally, I keep you up to date on the latest pop culture stories every day in "Pop Break" on "What's New" at 5 p.m., but now, with this new segment "3 Things Poppin' in Northeast Ohio," I'll be sharing with you my picks for trendy things to do on the weekends.

So without further delay, here's what I think you should check out this weekend, July 15- July 17.

Taste of Tremont

Up first, nothing says fun quite like tons of local food. And you can find exact that this weekend at the Taste of Tremont.

The annual street festival is taking place this Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. on Professor Avenue. Guests will be able to enjoy shopping, live music, and a variety of great cuisines.

Taste of Tremont is free and open to the public.

St. Paul Greek Festival

And in North Royalton, the folks at St. Paul Church are combining good food and tradition for their annual Greek Festival.

The event is back in-person this Friday through Sunday and admission, and parking are both free.

The event offers authentic Greek food, entertainment and so much more.

Brew at the Akron Zoo

And the Akron Zoo is getting on the fun this weekend with Brew at the Zoo.

On Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., guests can enjoy live music, afterhours access to the zoo, and craft beers and wine from some of the region’s best breweries.

Tickets are just $35.
