CLEVELAND -- Live Nation announced today that Billy Joel is coming back to Cleveland.
Joel will perform at Quicken Loans Arena at 8 p.m. April 1.
It's the 20th anniversary of the arena's grand opening show which Joel headlined.
"Billy Joel will be forever tied to the history of this arena as the very first artist who got it all started for us on opening night, Oct. 17, 1994," said Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena CEO Len Komoroski.
"As we flash forward to 2014, we are thrilled to welcome back the iconic showman who kicked off two decades of world class entertainment in downtown Cleveland."
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday (Jan. 17) at 10 a.m. at theqarena.com, the Quicken Loans Arena box office, all Northern Ohio Discount Drug Mart locations or by calling 888-894-9424.
American Express Card members can buy tickets starting Monday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. through 10 p.m. Thursday Jan. 16.
