Guide: Everything you need to know about the 2022 Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon

Events start on Friday, May 20, with the half/full marathons taking place on Sunday, May 22.

CLEVELAND — The 45th running of the Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon is set for this Sunday. Meanwhile, more than 8,000 entrants are expected for the 5k, 10k, half and full marathon events throughout the weekend.

Events start on Friday, May 20 and go through the weekend with the 5K/10K set for Saturday, May 20 and half/full marathons running on Sunday, May 22.

Here is a rundown of events for the weekend:

Friday, May 20:

Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon Health & Fitness Expo presented by University Hospitals

  • Location: Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland
    300 Lakeside Ave E, Hall C, Cleveland, OH 44113
  • Time: 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

  • 50+ booths Featuring health and fitness products and information
  • Race Registration

  • Official race merchandise sales

Saturday, May 21:

Union Home Mortgage Cleveland 5K & 10K (runners and walkers) 

  • Location: St. Clair at Mall B
  • Time: 7:30 a.m.

Parking/Traffic

The running of the Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon will cause some road closures throughout the area this weekend. Click here for more information.

All participants should try to be downtown on Saturday, May 21 by 6:30 a.m. and Sunday, May 22 before 6:00 a.m., when many of the roads are shut down.

Skip searching for parking and ride the RTA rapid or bus downtown. RTA's trains come to Tower City and buses to Public Square, steps away from where the race begins. Click here for details
