Playhouse Square: Tuesday, Wednesday performances of 'My Fair Lady' at EJ Thomas Hall in Akron postponed due to prop truck fire

Playhouse Square said ticketholders will be contacted 'in the next 48 hours' with further information.

AKRON, Ohio — Playhouse Square announced on their Facebook page Tuesday evening that the March 14 and 15 performances of "My Fair Lady" at Akron's EJ Thomas Hall have been postponed due to a fire in their prop truck.

"Attention Guests: We are sad to share that the Broadway in Akron performances of My Fair Lady scheduled for tonight and tomorrow must be postponed due to a fire in the prop truck. No one was injured but the show is not able to go on at this time. Ticket holders will be contacted within 48 hours with further information. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
