CLEVELAND — Thousands gathered at the Great Lakes Science Center for the annual Autism Speaks walk Sunday morning.

The one-mile walk raises funds for autism research and advocacy programs. Cleveland's fundraising goal was $289,000, which gets dispersed between the resources.

In addition to live music, participants got to enjoy interactive activities and performances. Dozens of autism resource programs were on hand to educate and support those directly affected.
