Labor Day may be approaching, but there's still plenty of summer left. Northeast Ohio has plenty of fun events happening to keep you outdoors and active.

From the annual Cuyahoga County Fair to the Broadway production of a Disney classic, check out our list of 10 things to do this weekend.

BrewFest Lorain

What: Head to Lorain's waterfront for an afternoon of music, food and of course, beer. This year's list features dozens of breweries, both local and national. Sip your local favorites like Saucy Brew Works and Fat Head's, or discover something new from Oregon's Deschutes Brewery or Pittsburgh's Arsenal Cider House. Get tickets here.

When: Saturday 12-6 p.m.

Cedar Fairmount Summer Festival

What: Head to Cleveland's Cedar-Fairmount neighborhood for art, music, food and entertainment. Area restaurants will offer specials, shops will open their doors and art projects will be provided by the Cleveland Museum of Art. Learn more here.

When: Saturday 1-6 p.m.

Chardon Brewfest

What: Gather your friends and enjoy good beer from more than 25 local brewmakers. Drink from your favorites, including Platform, Boss Dog, Bookhouse and more. Food trucks and vendors will also be on site and live music will keep you entertained.

Where: Chardon Square, Chardon

When: Saturday 2-7 p.m.

Cuyahoga County Fair

What: Head to the Cuyahoga County Fair for all your favorite summertime activities. Fill up on funnel cakes before you check out the rides, animals and performances in the grandstand. Country artist Ashley McBride is the headline act Saturday, and the Demolition Derby is sure to excite young fans Sunday. See the full schedule of events here.

Glenville Community Festival

What: Cleveland's Glenville neighborhood celebrates its 41st annual festival, which offers a full day of free activities. Live music will be on site throughout the day, in addition to food trucks and fireworks in the evening. Learn more here.

When: Saturday 12-9 p.m.

The Lion King

What: The circle of life comes to Cleveland starting this week. The Tony Award-winning production of "The Lion King" takes over Playhouse Square for the month, meaning audiences will see their favorites, including Simba, Timon and Pumbaa. Get tickets here.

Old Brooklyn Pierogi Fest

What: Show everyone you're a true Clevelander at Old Brooklyn Pierogi Fest. Tap your toes to some polka music, hang out in the beer garden or get competitive in the pierogi eating contest. Learn more here.

When: Saturday 3-10 p.m.

Taste of Gervasi

What: Explore Gervasi's stunning grounds as you sample wine and delicious food from Gervasi's restaurants. Admission includes eight stops with six food tastings, such as bruschetta, chips and cannoli, and six alcohol tastings including wine and craft beer. Get tickets here.

When: Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tequila Fest Willoughby 

What: Spend your Saturday day drinking in downtown Willoughby. Tequila Fest features more than 20 brands and 50 types of tequila for your sampling. Attendees will receive 12 sampling tickets to use at more than 10 participating bars. Taco and margarita specials will also be available. Get tickets here.

USA Triathlon

What: Even if you aren't competing, you can still get inspired by the 5,000 athletes in the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships. Cheer them on in the Olympic-distance triathlon as they compete to qualify for the World Championships in Switzerland. Learn more here.
