What's happening in Northeast Ohio this weekend: July 12-14

The All-Star Game may be over, but the fun doesn't stop.

Though Cleveland is now in the post-All-Star Game stage, the fun isn't stopping anytime soon.

The baseball buzz has subsided, but the Indians will remain in town this weekend for an important series with the Minnesota Twins. If you've had your baseball fill for the time being (how could you?), there are plenty of other events taking place this weekend.

Alice Cooper

What: School's out for summer, so why not head to Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica to see rock legend Alice Cooper? Cooper is on his "Ol' Black Eyes Is Back" tour, and tickets are still available for Sunday's show. Click here for more.

Birds, Beasts, Brats and Beer at Cleveland Museum of Natural History

What: Enjoy music, food and cold beer while you support and learn about the animals who reside at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History's Perkins Wildlife Center. You'll see special demonstrations with the animals, including Lancelot the porcupine and the trio of adorable river otters. Get tickets here.

Bridgestone Senior Players Championship

What: Akron's Firestone Country Club hosts the Bridgestone Senior Players tournament this weekend, meaning spectators will have a chance to see defending champ Vijay Singh, Fred Couples and more in action. Single day, weekly and special access passes are available here.

Cain Park Arts Festival

What: Discover the hidden gem of Cleveland Heights as the Cain Park Arts Festival brings dozens of exhibitors and vendors. See paintings, photography, jewelry, sculptures are more from artists across the country. Bands will play at the Evans Amphitheater and screenings will take place at the Alma Theater. Carly Rae Jepsen

What: It's always a good time at a Carly Rae Jepsen show. The pop singer, best known for "Call Me Maybe" is set to play House of Blues Sunday with supporting act Mansionair. Tickets are still available here.

Colin Jost

What: The star of Saturday Night Live's 'Weekend Update' segment brings his stand-up routine to MGM Northfield Park this Saturday. Jost, 37, has been a writer on SNL since 2005 and has co-anchored 'Weekend Update' since 2014. Tickets are still available here.

Inkcarceration

What: Celebrate all things rock and tattoo at the Ohio State Reformatory this weekend. The Inkcarceration festival returns with another lineup of heavy-hitters, including Shinedown, Godsmack and Five Finger Death Punch. Festivalgoers can also check out the tattoo exhibit with dozens of artists, and the Escape from Blood Prison haunted house returns just for the weekend event. Get tickets here.

Lakewood Summer Meltdown

What: Cool off from the summer heat at Lakewood's free annual summer event. Detroit Avenue will shut down in the heart of downtown Lakewood for outdoor games and activities, food vendors, live music, a beer garden and more. Click here for the full schedule of events.

Tall Ships Festival

What: Ahoy! The Tall Ships return to the north coast this weekend for a festival of sailing fun. The four-day festival runs Thursday through Sunday on Lake Erie near FirstEnergy Stadium. It kicks off with a ceremonial parade as the ships arrive in Cleveland Thursday afternoon. Visitors will see a full fleet of tall ships, on which you can actually set sail. Click here to learn more.

Tequila Fest

What: Sugar or salt? Tequila Fest Cleveland takes over the East Bank of Cleveland's Flats Saturday for you to sample top shelf tequilas. Barrio will be on site for your taco fix, and a trio of bands will play through the evening to keep you entertained. Get tickets here.
