Digital dance party hosted by DJ Steph Floss raises money for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio

Proceeds from pizza orders during the 2-hour dance party were donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

CLEVELAND — Dance parties are going digital these days. And borrowing from the viral club quarantine, a locally-based, nationally-known DJ hosted his own party for a great cause.

DJ Steph Floss did an Instagram Live set on Saturday afternoon, called "Party with a Purpose" by teaming up with Papa John's Pizza.

Proceeds from pizza orders during the 2-hour dance party were donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio.

"Music is healing, it's therapeutic and it brings the world together," DJ Steph Floss told 3News. "At a time like this, one of the things we all have that we can share is music."

There's another dance party fundraiser next Friday from noon to 2:00 p.m. on DJ Steph Floss's Instagram channel.
