After being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this past weekend, Kraftwerk announced that it will be returning to Cleveland in May 2022 for its 3-D Summer Concert Tour.
Kraftwerk’s tour will take place at Connor Palace in Cleveland at 8 p.m. on May 29.
For the past 10 years, the pioneers of electronic music have toured worldwide with 3-D elements making for a unique experience for attendees. The new tour announcement comes after their 2020 tour plans had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The tour will bring a combination of bringing elements together, including music, 3-D visuals and performance art.
Beginning Friday, Nov. 5, tickets will be on sale to the public.

Kraftwerk originated in 1970 when Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider produced a multimedia project. The duo created their own Kling Klang Studio in Düsseldorf, Germany, where all the Kraftwerk albums have been produced.
In the middle of the 1970s, Kraftwerk achieved international recognition for its unique electronic soundscapes and its experiments with robotics and other technological advances.
“With their visions of the future, Kraftwerk created the soundtrack for the digital age,” said Playhouse Square officials in a press release on Monday. “Using innovative techniques, synthetic voices, and computerized rhythms, their compositions have had a significant international influence across a huge range of music genres: from electro to hip-hop, from techno to synth-pop, and beyond.
Throughout all of its performances, Kraftwerk visually shows its belief in the contributions between man and machine.
The group is coming off a standout year as well. In 2020, it celebrated its 50th anniversary and was recognized, as previously mentioned by its induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The airing of the induction ceremony will take place on Nov. 20, on HBO.
