Rock and Roll Hall of Fame plaza gets new name with Union Home Mortgage

Union Home Mortgage is also now the museum’s official ticket sponsor for the next five years.

CLEVELAND — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's outdoor plaza is getting a new name in partnership with Union Home Mortgage.

In honor of the new name -- Union Home Mortgage Plaza -- a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held next week on Friday, Nov. 5 at 5:30 p.m. with Bill Cosgrove, the President and CEO of Union Home Mortgage and Greg Harris, the CEO and President of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

This past summer, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Union Home Mortgage came together to expand their presence with a focus on Northeast Ohio and community commitment -- which included a gift from Union Home Mortgage that has been earmarked for the museum’s capital campaign, supporting its multi-year project to renovate, expand and transform the museum and plaza.

Thanks to the gift, Union Home Mortgage now has exclusive naming rights to the Rock Hall’s outdoor plaza. The name will be on display above the front entrance of the museum and on a new digital display added to the corner of the plaza.

In addition to that, UHM is now the museum’s official ticket sponsor for the next five years. The company’s logo will be appearing on all digital tickets for admission to the museum.
