'Summer in the City' | Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces lineup for summer concert series

Summer in the city aims to bring summer fun with big bands and local openers

CLEVELAND — Looking for summer fun? The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is bringing the heat with “Summer in the City,” its free summer concert series.

On Thursday, the organization announced the headliners and openers for the 5-week series. Every Wednesday, from July 17 through August 14 ,the series will feature live performances by nationally touring bands and local openers.

Week 1 - Wednesday, July 17, Soccer Mommy with Heavenly Creatures

Week 2 - Wednesday, July 24, Open Mike Eagle with FreshProduce

Week 3 - Wednesday, July 31, Against the Current with Milan

Week 4 - Wednesday, August 7, Sunflower Bean with The Dreemers

Week 5 - Wednesday, August 14, Mike Krol and Swearin'

Each performance kicks off at 7 p.m. on the PNC Bank stage.

But the summer fun doesn’t stop here. The Rock Hall also announced plans for Pride on the Plaza, Fam Jam, Hungry for Music and more.
