CLEVELAND — A staple in Cleveland's recreation community has announced its permanent closure.
On Monday, Cleveland Rock Gym took to social media to announce that it would be closing, "effective immediately."
According to the gym, it could not agree on terms with their new landlord after shutting down due to the ongoing coroanvirus pandemic and will have to shut its doors.
"Thank you to our community; all of our patrons, members, family, and friends for all of the memories, laughs, and camaraderie," the post from the company read.
The gym celebrated its 25th anniversary in May of this year.
The gym says it will be reaching out to members soon. Anyone with questions or concerns regarding the gym closure can reach out via phone or email at 216-692-3300 or info@clevelandrockgym.com.
