An out-of-the-box way to shop has arrived in Northeast Ohio.
BoxSpot, an open air market, is now open in Cleveland's Kinsman neighborhood.
The unconventional shopping experience is constructed from 10 stacked shipping containers near the corner of East 81st Street and Kinsman Road. The space also features an outdoor amphitheater.
Inside, you'll find seven Cleveland-based businesses offering a wide range of services including a restaurant, a barber shop, a hair salon, a candy & gift shop, and a customized apparel shop.
The seven entrepreneurs were selected from approximately 100 applicants by Burten, Bell, Carr Development Inc - a neighborhood development group.
Boxspot is open Monday - Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays through October 26 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
