Award-winning artist and lead singer of legendary band, “The Who” Roger Daltrey is visiting Cleveland’s Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital Monday.
Daltrey is joining staff and members of the community for the hospital’s new inpatient teen cancer suite ribbon cutting. Daltrey is making the appearance just a day before his scheduled concert at Blossom Music Center.
In 2012, Daltrey and Pete Townshend of The Who founded Teen Cancer of America. The two made the decision after more than a decade of working with Teenage Cancer Trust in the UK. The organization is "devoted to supporting teens and young adults in their fight against the disease, as well as cancer research."
September is Childhood Cancer awareness month.
