Luis Gomez, Jessica Pinsky & Tony Williams - Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s previews a community dye garden

Learn how Cuyahoga Arts & Culture is helping to celebrate the revitalization of the Cuyahoga River.

In our Arts & Entertainment segment today, our friends from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture were here to tell you about a community dye garden that’s making art to celebrate the revitalization of the Cuyahoga River. Today Alexa welcomed Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s Program Manager, Luis Gomez, Jessica Pinsky, Executive Director of the Praxis Fiber Workshop in Collinwood, and Tony Williams, Cuyahoga County Artist, to share more.

Here are the questions Alexa asked:
Jessica, please tell us about the Praxis Fiber Workshop?
Luis, the dye garden is a really interesting project. Can you please tell our viewers more about it and how it came about?
Jessica, why did you want to grow your own indigo?
Tony, you’ve designed a banner that will hang off the Detroit Superior Bridge. Tell us about it.
Jessica, are there more events coming up where the community can get involved?
Luis, how can people find out more information about the Praxis Dye Garden and other events happening this summer?

What do you think of this project? Tweet us @LIVEONLakeside or find us on Facebook at LIVE on Lakeside and let us know!
