Indians on a roll, Browns back at OTAs, NBA Finals eve for Cavaliers: Donovan Live Postgame Show

Jim Donovan and Dave "Dino" DeNatale take a look at the Indians, Browns, and of course, the Cavaliers during a busy Donovan Live Postgame Show

Twas the night before the NBA Finals and Jim Donovan and yours truly were talking about...

The Indians!

Why not? The Tribe won their 5th in a row on Wednesday, beating the White Sox 9-1 to complete a three-game sweep. Michael Brantley extended his hitting streak to 19 games in a row, while Corey Kluber pitched another masterful game.

Also, the Indians got some good news about Andrew Miller. The All-Star reliever has inflammation in his right knee, but no structural damage. He has been cleared to begin a throwing program.

Okay, but I'm sure you guys talked about...

The Browns? Why yes, we did.

The team was back on the field in Berea for OTAs, although the biggest story of the day was reaction to the NBA Finals twitter challenge put forth by defensive back Damarious Randall.

Jimmy had plenty of observations from watching the team on the field, including encouraging signs from one of the Browns' top draft picks.

Okay, yes I've been stalling. Of course we talked about the matchup between the Cavaliers and the Warriors.

There were a couple of developments from Media Day on Wednesday. First, Golden State's Andre Iguodala was ruled out for Thursday's Game 1 of the series with what is being called a "left lateral leg contusion/bone bruise."

Also, Kevin Love is still in concussion protocol heading into Thursday. Head Coach Ty Lue is hopeful that the All-Star forward will be cleared in time for the game, but if not, the Cavs have certainly proved they can win without Love if necessary.

We took several questions from Facebook Live viewers during the show. One asked us point blank if the Cavaliers had any chance against the heavily-favored Warriors. Here's the key: The Cavs need to figure out how to get out of the Bay Area with at least a split of the first two games, and do no worse than 2-2 after four games. They can't come home down 0-2. And they can't leave the Q down 3-1.

The point is that you want to take this series to a Game 7. Because, as we found out two years ago, anything's possible.
