When animals are forced into awful, even criminal circumstances, we're lucky in Northeast Ohio to have groups of kind-hearted people, that are there to help.

On Wednesday's Donovan Live, Jimmy was joined by one of those groups. Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ravenna rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes criminally abused, neglected and abandoned farm animals.

Cathy Belt, the Director of Development, was joined by Katherine Stalter and Daisy the potbelly piglet.

The organization works closely with local law enforcement and humane organization. They provide veterinary attention in addition to general care.

To generate funds to keep the farm running the organization hosts Yoga at the sanctuary, a summer solstice party and hosts facility tours.
