The Clear The Shelter’s campaign has returned for its 5th year. Since 2015, NBC and Telemundo stations across the nation have partnered with local shelters and rescues and helped more than a quarter million pets of all types to find new homes. Joining the show was Izzy Esler, Adoption/Volunteer Coordinator for Cleveland Animal Care and Control.

Below are questions Leon had for Izzy:
What is City Dogs Cleveland?
How many dogs are currently at the kennel?
Where do your dogs come from?
What is happening on Saturday, August 17th for Clear The Shelters?
How do I go about adopting a dog?
If I can’t adopt, how can I still help out?
Tell us about your new volunteer info sessions you have coming up?

Visit our social media, ‘We The People’, and let us know how you are helping to Clear The Shelters!
