Hallmark is running a Christmas movie marathon to keep us entertained while we're spending time at home

The channel will air 27 original Christmas movies from 12 p.m. on Friday through 6 p.m. on Sunday

The Hallmark Channel has come to the rescue with a full slate of weekend programming to keep Christmas lovers busy while we all stay in in order to keep our physical distance and help slow the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.

The "Countdown to Christmas" marathon kicks off on Friday, at 12 p.m. Eastern, with with Candace Cameron Bure in "A Christmas Detour."

The movies keep on coming all the way through Sunday, with the last movie starting at 6 p.m Eastern. The major television event will end with "Christmas in Rome" starring Lacey Chabert.

For those who have had the debut of Hallmark's "In the Key of Love" marked on their calendars, don't worry. The film starring Laura Osnes and Scott Michael Foster will air as previously scheduled on Saturday, March 21 at 9 p.m. Eastern.
