Here's what's happening in Northeast Ohio this weekend: Feb. 7-9

Take your inner child out for a play date, see a show or treat your partner to a couples massage workshop.

It's the weekend before Valentine's Day, and love is in the air at lots of events taking place this weekend. 

One way you can show yourself some love is by taking your inner child out for a play date to build with Legos or dance around in a ball pit. Enjoy your time off between now and Monday with drinks, dancing and live entertainment all across Northeast Ohio.

Mix: Cupid

What: February's Mix party at the Cleveland Museum of Art is Cupid themed. Take a date, show up solo, or meet a friend for drinks, dancing, and art… complete with scandalous behind the scenes love stories. Tickets are free for CMA members, and everyone else can get in for $10 in advance and $15 at door.
Where: Cleveland Museum of Art at 11150 East Boulevard in Cleveland

The Lumineers "The World Tour"

What: The Lumineers are bringing their World Tour to the Land, with new music from their latest album, "III," and old favorites, like "Ho Hey." Tickets start at around $80.

When: Saturday at 7pm

Straight to the Heart Couples Massage Workshop

What: Learn how to reconnect with your partner as you learn basic massage techniques together to enhance your relationship through the power of touch in this alternative date night experience, in an intimate, small group setting. Wear comfy clothes and bring your favorite pillow for an evening of learning together and fun, guided by Cara Perez, LMT, MFR of Jade Massotherapy. The session costs $65 per couple, and beverages and sweets will be available for purchase. Brick Par pop up

What: For the second time, the Lego-themed bar is back in town. Hang out on elaborate setups, and build your own stuff with prizes for the best creations. If you want to bring the kids, get there before 6pm. After that it's 21 and over only. Tickets are $15-$20 and good for 90 minutes in the pop up.

Ball Pit Party

What: Right next to Brick Bar pop up, you can unleash your inner child at the Ball Pit Party. Hop around in the adult playground, grab your favorite cocktail and dance it out with the DJ. Pro tip: you need to bring cash for the bar. Tickets are $15-$20 and good for 90 minutes in the ball pit, with unlimited time at the bar and on the dance floor.

Standup comedy with Suzanne Westenhoefer

What: After 25 years of groundbreaking, stereotype-shattering and brutally honest comedy, Suzanne Westenhoefer is not about to start pulling punches now. The kid from Amish Country tells the truth. And the truth is life is funny, especially how Suzanne sees it. See the first openly lesbian comedian with an HBO Special and the first openly lesbian comedian on “Late Night with David Letterman" in Northeast Ohio with tickets starting at $25.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s Intersection between Hip Hop Culture & Education

What: In celebration of Black History Month, special guests MC, artist and educator Jahi and 2013 Inductee, Chuck D. of Public Enemy join the Rock Hall for the Intersection between Hip Hop Culture & Education, an interactive dialogue presenting Hip Hop as a world culture using videos, audio, narrative, demonstration and performance. This event is free with RSVP.
