Kelly Clarkson files for divorce, Lady Antebellum changes their name, and 'Harry Potter' stars speak out against J.K. Rowling's 'anti-trans' tweets

Plus, the new celebrity PSA against complicit racism

CLEVELAND — Kelly Clarkson ends her marriage, celebs come together to fight racism, why Lady Antebellum is no longer, and why the cast of the 'Harry Potter' films are speaking out against J.K. Rowling. These are the top stories around Hollywood.

It's over for Kelly Clarkson and her husband of seven-years, Brandon Blackstock. According to E! News, the host of 'The Kelly Clarkson Show' and 'The Voice' filed for divorce in Los Angeles last week, though no reasons for the split have been released.

The pair has two kids together, River and Remington, and Blackstock has two additional children from a previous relationship.

Neither Clarkson nor Blackstock have spoken out publicly on the split.

Our best hope is that she will pull an Adele and give fans the best music of her life.

Speaking of breakups, celebs are ending their relationship with complicit racism in a new PSA starring Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, Kesha, and more.

The video, called 'I Take Responsibility' urges white individuals to take responsibility for their own white privilege, and to not be complicit in racism.

The video has gone viral all over social media, and many have already pledged to take part in the fight.

While the band members for the country group Lady Antebellum didn't take part in the video, they got the message loud and clear.

The group announced Thursday morning that they will no longer go by 'Lady Antebellum,' and will now make music under the name 'Lady A.'

This comes amid protests around the country over racial injustice. 'Antebellum' is a term often associated with the Civil War, and is translated directly as 'pre-war.'

'After much personal reflection, band discussion, prayer and many honest conversations with some of our closest Black friends and colleagues, we have decided to drop the word “antebellum” from our name and move forward as Lady A, the nickname our fans gave us almost from the start.⁣,' the group said in a post on Instagram.

Speaking of controversy, 'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling is in hot water with the stars of her films after making some 'anti-transgender' comments on Twitter.

Rowling's comments were called out by fans and friends alike, with many of the film's stars speaking out in support of the transgender community.

Evanna Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, and Bonnie Wright all spoke out earlier this week to support members in the LGBTQ+ community.

Hermione Granger herself, Emma Watson tweeted 'Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned.'

Daniel Radcliffe, who portrayed Harry Potter in the magical series, wrote a piece for The Trevor Project earlier this week supporting transgender women and all those within the LGBTQ+ community.

'Transgender women are women' Radcliffe said in the letter, 'any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people and goes against all advice given by professional health care associations who have far more expertise on this subject matter than either Jo or I. '
