'Home' Coming: Betsy Kling shows Carmen Blackwell around some special places from her childhood

With a visit to the Copley firehouse and Hinckley Lake, Betsy shares some of the places that make her think of coming home.

COPLEY, Ohio — As many of us prepare to head home for the holidays, this is the perfect time of year to revisit and remember some of those special places from our childhoods that just make us think of coming home.

3News Chief Meteorologist and anchor Betsy Kling grew up in Copley, while anchor Carmen Blackwell, a New Orleans native, is still getting to know Northeast Ohio. So, we figured this would be the perfect opportunity to have Betsy show Carmen around some of the places that are most special to her, including the Copley Fire Department where her dad Tim volunteered for many years. We then head north to the Cleveland Metroparks Hinckley Reservation, where her family would picnic and enjoy everything from hiking Whipps Ledges to boating and fishing on Hinckley Lake.

Join Betsy and Carmen and take a walk down memory lane, and perhaps plan a visit of your own!
