CLEVELAND — On today’s edition of the "On the GO!" aftershow, the morning team briefly ran through the top political headlines of the day and also focused on football.
The Ohio State Buckeyes fell 52-24 to the Alabama Crimson Tide Monday night in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
“It was a matter of whether Ohio State could hang with Alabama offensively,” morning anchor Dave Chudowsky said. “This Alabama team was just heads and shoulders above the rest.”
With the loss in the national championship, the Buckeyes finish their season with an overall record of 7-1.
“They were one of the best four teams in the country and they beat Clemson to prove that they deserve to be in this game, so hats off to the Buckeyes for a great season,” Dave added.
The conversation also included predictions for Sunday’s Browns' playoff game.
Facebook viewer Josh Weaver chimed in with his prediction for the final score of the Browns match-up with the Kansas City writing “Browns 17, Chiefs, 14” in overtime.
