Elvis impersonator takes over Northeast Ohio

Ahead of NBC's 'Elvis All-Star Tribute,' we caught up with fans to test their knowledge of The King.

CLEVELAND — A huge list of stars will take the stage this Saturday on NBC for the Elvis All-Star Tribute.

Artists such as Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Shawn Mendes, and Ed Sheeran will pay homage to The King by performing some of the rock icon's most beloved songs. 

The two-hour event is a tribute to the rock icon's legendary '68 Comeback Special that originally aired on NBC. 

Here in Northeast Ohio, we wanted to test the public's Elvis knowledge. Reporter Austin Love and Elvis Impersonator, Johnny Elvis, took some trivia to the streets. 

Elvis fun facts: 

- Elvis was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. 

- His first #1 hit: Heartbreak Hotel in 1956. 

- He purchased Graceland when he was just 22 years old. 

- He served in the military when he was already a major star. He was drafted in December 1957 and was inducted into the Army as a private on March 24th, 1958. 

- Elvis never gave an encore. 

- He never performed outside of North America. 

- Elvis was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1986. He was one of the first 10 performers inducted.

Elvis All-Star Tribute is hosted by Blake Shelton. It will air on NBC at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17.
