CLEVELAND — As the Northeast region of the country is preparing for their first big snow storm of the season, meteorologist Hollie Strano broke down how the storm will impact Northeast Ohio.

“Basically this storm is just going to hit us with the very back edge,” Hollie explained during the On the GO! live aftershow on Facebook and YouTube. “In the scheme of things what that means is that we are going to see a lot less impact here.”

Hollie went on to say that most of the local snowfall will be in the southeast portion of Northeast Ohio.  Those in Canton, Dover, New Philadelphia, Youngstown and Portage County will see more snow than areas of downtown Cleveland.

“Keep it out of Cleveland,” wrote Facebook viewer Raymond Biltz.  “We don’t need the snow.”

Allie Vit, another viewer of the live aftershow, countered writing, “can we get another big snow?” I wanna build a snowman.”

While Hollie stepped away to give the weather report for WTAM listeners, Danielle Wiggins, Dave Chudowsky and Austin Love briefly chatted about professional athletes giving back to the Northeast Ohio community.
