All throughout this month, WKYC has been celebrating its 70th birthday with well-wishes, retrospectives, and even returns from some popular former on-air personalities.
On Wednesday, one of our local sports teams got in on the fun, as members of the Cleveland Cavaliers came together to recognize our milestone in a special video message.
Among those giving a shout out to Channel 3 were Channing Frye, Tristan Thompson, Collin Sexton, and head coach Larry Drew.
"70 years. WOOOOO!," Thompson said. "Bless it. Keep it going."
We certainly appreciate the Cavs' kindness, and continue to wish them the best of luck as the season continues!
