The Loop: Spooky, superstitious Friday

It's something that doesn't happen very often

Talk about game over. GameStop is closing 200 stores by the end of the year, and more could be on the way. We don't know which locations are affected, but the ones shutting down were underperforming.

If you're superstitious, lay low tomorrow for two reasons. Not only is it Friday the 13th, but there's also a full moon. Technically, we're fudging the timing just a bit. In our area, the moon changes over to full just after midnight Saturday. But it's still creepy.

No "Taco Tuesday" for King James. The government denied LeBron's request to trademark the phrase. But the King's court says, it's not a complete loss. "Taco Tuesday" is just to common to trademark, so he can use it in his projects. By the way, the Ohio State University was denied a similar request this week for the word 'the.'
