He was inducted into the Press Club of Cleveland Hall of Fame in 1994.

Dick Feagler was 79 years old.

Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish released the following statement on Feagler's passing:

Dick Feagler was a long-standing and well-loved journalist whose voice was a constant for decades here in Cleveland. But he wasn’t just a legendary local media figure – Dick Feagler gave us a look back at the past and interpreted the past for a look into the future. I was privileged to get to know him both professionally and personally; we appeared multiple times on each other’s TV programs. He was a thoughtful, warm, decent, and insightful man who encouraged and inspired Clevelanders for decades.

My heart goes out to his family and his friends during this difficult time.
