'Spider-Man' star Tom Holland spotted with director Joe Russo at Mansfield Reformatory and Ghoul Bros. haunted house in Akron

The stars were ready to get scared even though Halloween was over.

AKRON, Ohio — A pair of Northeast Ohio haunted houses had some very special guests this weekend.

Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, joined director Joe Russo for a visit to Blood Prison at the Mansfield Reformatory and the Ghoul Bros. haunted attraction in Akron for some post-Halloween scares on Saturday night.

The two dropped by the haunted houses along with crew members from the movie Cherry, which is currently filming in Cleveland. Cherry actress Ciara Bravo, who is best known for her roles on Big Time Rush and Red Band Society, was also there for the frightful fun.

Ghoul Bros. said it was a “great honor” to host the Hollywood stars and their crew.

“We are truly ecstatic they chose our haunt out of the many that spread out through Ohio,” Matt Colbert of Ghoul Bros. tells 3News.

Officials with Blood Prison at the Mansfield Reformatory shared that same excitement as they posted a picture with Holland, Russo, Bravo and their crew on Facebook.

"Thank you for coming to Blood Prison for some scares!" they wrote. "Glad you and your crew had fun!"

Cherry, which also stars Bill Skarsgard and Jack Reynor, is described as follows on IMDB: "An Army medic suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder becomes a serial bank robber after an addiction to drugs puts him in debt."

The movie is expected to film a bank scene on Detroit Avenue in Cleveland throughout the day Monday.
