Watch live eagle cam 24/7: Eaglets hatch in nest at Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake

The eagle parents -- named Stars and Stripes -- have welcomed multiple eaglets in Avon Lake throughout recent years.

AVON LAKE, Ohio — This is so cool!

There are two new baby eagles in Northeast Ohio inside the nest at Redwood Elementary School in Avon Lake.

Avon Lake City Schools Communications Coordinator Julie Short tells 3News the first eaglet hatched Wednesday at 6:45 a.m. And then, just 24 hours later, Short confirmed the second eaglet hatched early Thursday morning.

That means congratulations are also in order for the eagle parents – appropriately named Stars and Stripes.
