'Feed the Need' at TownHall aims to feed thousands of people in need

Feed the Need.

Thanksgiving is just days away and with an attitude of gratitude, we are reminded of those less fortunate.

How many of are neighbors will be without a hot meal this holiday season? With the spirit of giving back in mind, Feed the Need is hoping to help feed thousands of people in need.

The city's most prominent influencers will join forces Tuesday to feed the less fortunate. From TownHall in Ohio City, thousands of free turkey dinners will be distributed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In it's sixth year, Feed the Need continues to unite local leaders to serve a purpose greater than themselves.

This year's line-up includes Cleveland Browns Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward, UFC Champion Stipe Miocic and Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Larry Drew. WKYC will also have some star power in attendance as Betsy Kling, Chris Tye and Ben Axelrod will also be there lending a helping hand.

The event is powered by support and dedication from the Greater Cleveland Hunger Network, CMHA, St. Malachi Center, Bishop Cosgrove, Norma Herr, 2100 Lakeside, Riverview Towers, Lakeview Towers, Frontline Services, Westside Catholic Center and many others.
