As we enter the last quarter of 2018, Cleveland is once again gearing up to host a variety of great events, meetings, and conventions.
More than 50 events from now through the end of the year are expected to bring more than 23,000 visitors to the area. In all, Cleveland will have hosted 290 meetings and conventions in 2018.
Mike Burns, senior vice president of convention sales and services at Destination Cleveland, said:
"Each year we are continuing to see more interest from planners to make Cleveland their meeting or convention destination. By hosting events in 2018 like PCMA’s Education Conference and ConferenceDirect’s CDX18 Fall Conference, Destination Cleveland was able to change perceptions of the area with those who identify and recommend destinations. This helps to fill the pipeline with future meetings and conventions."
Just the 11 events listed below are expected to bring a combined economic impact of more than $19 million, according to Destination Cleveland.
