Bearden's in Rocky River celebrating 70 years of business with 70-cent burgers

The Rocky River staple is celebrating seven decades of business.

ROCKY RIVER -- The year was 1948 and the burgers were just as good as the local baseball team.

When Bearden's first opened its doors, the Cleveland Indians were World Series champs and burgers cost 15 cents each.

The Rocky River diner has been serving up steakburgers for 70 years and on Monday, they'll celebrate with a special sale: 70-cent burgers for all who visit.

Visit Bearden's between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday for the deal. Burgers are limited to two per person and toppings are extra, but you'll want to save room for fries and a milkshake anyway.
