CLEVELAND — You don't have to wait until the holiday season to get your Christmas Ale fix.
Great Lakes Brewing Co. is throwing a special Christmas in July party Thursday, complete with a single batch tapping of the brand's famous Christmas Ale.
Christmas Ale will be available on tap at 11:30 a.m. and will be first come, first served while the batch lasts. A pig roast on the patio of Great Lakes Brewing Co.'s Ohio City location will begin at 4 p.m. Partygoers can also have a picture taken with Santa from 5-7 p.m., and City Dogs will be on site from 3-7 p.m. to introduce you to some adoptable pups.
After the Christmas in July celebration, Christmas Ale won't be available until Great Lakes Brewing Co. hosts its annual first pour event, which usually happens in October.
