AVON, Ohio — Get ready for more sweet treats!

This summer, Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes owner, Kelsey Elizabeth, announced she would be opening another location of her pastry shop, calling it her "flagship store."

She made the announcement on her Instagram page, saying the new location will be in Avon. The post shows Kelsey Elizabeth standing in a pink coat, holding a bottle of what appears to be champagne. There are two other locations in Rocky River and in Avon Lake.

The new shop is 4,000 square feet, and Kelsey says it will allow her and her team to handle more orders. She also said in her post that the new location would be a jumping off point for more stores to open in the future. She named the east side and Columbus in the post.

Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes opened its first location in Avon Lake in 2014. It's a joint venture between Kelsey, her mom Liz, and her dad Joe. The shop is known for its macarons, which come in dozens of different flavors including cookie dough, Fruity Pebbles, Cookie Monster and lavender. You can also order custom-painted macarons, which are available for any occasion.

The shop also features more than three dozen flavors of cupcakes, including a rotation of seasonal offerings like key lime pie during the summer, and shamrock shake around St. Patrick's Day.

Kelsey Elizabeth Cakes is also widely known for its elaborate specialty cakes, available in more than 20 different flavors, ranging from ice cream sundae, to cinnamon roll, to frosted animal cracker. The shop also specializes in cakes for special occasions, including weddings.
