Raising Cane's makes Lakewood debut Tuesday

The popular chicken finger brand opens its second Cleveland area location Tuesday.

LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Raising Cane's continues its push across Northeast Ohio with the grand opening of its new Lakewood location Tuesday.

The fast food chicken chain has previously opened Northeast Ohio locations in Canton, Kent and Strongsville.

The Lakewood spot fills the former Bob Evan's location on Detroit Avenue, across from Winking Lizard. 

One-hundred of the first customers to buy a combo meal at the Lakewood opening will receive a free t-shirt and voucher for a free Box combo. The restaurant is also holding a "Lucky 20" drawing, in which 20 of the first customers will receive free Raising Cane's food for a year.

It's Grand Opening Day in Lakewood!

"We couldn't be more excited to bring our ONE LOVE to Caniacs in Lakewood," said Eric Ongaro, president of Raising Cane's Ohio, in a news release. "We've assembled an exceptional crew of 100 members, and the new restaurant is in the perfect location near Lakewood High School and Lakewood St. Edwards. We look forward to getting more involved and becoming an integral part of the community."
