CLEVELAND — Cleveland knows good coffee.
The city has quality coffee shops in every neighborhood, but one is receiving national recognition.
Rising Star Coffee Roasters was named one of the country's best coffee shops on USA Today's 10 Best list. The Cleveland-based brand has shops in Hingetown, Little Italy, Lakewood, the downtown Arcade and the Van Aken District.
"The Black Star cold brew at Rising Star Coffee Roasters packs a serious punch and the cardamom bomb latte is a signature here too. They have five cafe locations in and around Cleveland, but the Ohio City flagship is the best hangout, located in a historic firehouse with a great front patio during warmer months," writes USA Today 10 Best's Amber Gibson.
Rising Star was one of two Ohio shops to make the list, as One Line Coffee in Columbus also received honors.
