100 years of life in Lakewood, a Medina boy's life-saving actions, and a birth reunion: It's All Good News

A little local news, a lot of fun, and a ton of reasons t to smile.

CLEVELAND — Happy first week of October! Halloween, fall festivals, big sweaters- tons of reasons to smile! But we have some other things making news that will start your week off right, as well.

First up- ever wonder what the secret to long life is? One Lakewood woman who just celebrated her 100th birthday says she has the answer! Meet Claire Talbot, who celebrated her 100th birthday on September 24th with all her friends. She has the MOST Cleveland answer to her secret to long life- you have to watch to hear it!

And get this- one Medina boy possibly saved the lives of 5 kittens living under his house by caring for them all by himself. Eleven-year-old Wyatt Jenkins and his dad Jeremy found them, and Wyatt says he would balance school work and bringing the kittens back to health. Eventually, he and dad brought the kittens to a local pet non-profit. Watch the video to see how Kitten Krazy in Medina is honoring Wyatt for saving these cute kitties lives!

Speaking of cats- we want to introduce you to one Pennsylvania kitty who is making eyewear the latest fashion! Let us explain. Truffles the cat works with her owner, who owns a eyewear store, to help kids feel less insecure about wearing glasses. And get this- Truffles has a whole TikTok following as well!

Reunited by birth. Meet the Boston Marathon runner who survived the 2013 bombing, and credits that to the amazing nurse who cared for her. When Jacqui Webb got pregnant, she went back to that same hospital- and guess who found her! That same nurse saw Jacqui's name on the patient list and they were re-united for the first time since the bombings. How special!
