CLEVELAND — We are just 10 days away from St. Patrick's Day, traditionally a highlight in Cleveland among those who are Irish, and those who just love a good day to party with friends and family.

As we gear up for the 177th anniversary of the St.Patrick's Day parade downtown, you may want to dance a jig thanks to a recent survey from WalletHub that lists Cleveland as the 12th best city in America to celebrate the holiday.

Here's the Top 12, including an Ohio city that finished just ahead of Cleveland:

  1. Chicago
  2. Philadelphia
  3. Madison
  4. Boston
  5. Tampa
  6. Naperville, IL
  7. New York
  8. Pittsburgh
  9. Rockford, IL

WalletHub compared 200 of the most populated U.S. cities across four key dimensions in coming up with their rankings: 1) St. Patrick’s Day Traditions, 2) Costs, 3) Safety & Accessibility and 4) St. Patrick’s Day Weather.

Cleveland ranked very high in traditions (No. 15), while finishing No. 64 in costs, No. 113 in safety, and No. 78 in weather.

Around the state of Ohio, here's how the rankings shaped out:
