Share your best DIY tips and life hacks with WKYC: Who Knew You Could

Want to share your genius hacks to make life easier with everyone on the internet.

CLEVELAND — It seems like every day people are finding new ways to make life easier, leaving us asking: "Who knew you could...?"

In a new segment called 'Who Knew You Could' (which conveniently lines up with our station's call letters, WKYC), we're highlighting life hacks that others might not know about.

We know you probably have a ton of tips that make your life better, like how to get a wine out of the carpet before it stains or how to stop a can of pop from exploding all over you, so we want to share your genius hacks with the Northeast Ohio, and everyone on the internet.

Send us your best life hacks through the WKYC app, which you can download for free in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, and include a video or pictures of how it works.

When you submit, there will be space for you to describe exactly how it works so that we can share your knowledge to help fellow viewers!

When you share your photos and videos with us, we just might use them with credit to you on our 5 p.m. TV show, "What's New," social media platforms and on wkyc.com.

Remember to include your name, where you're from, and your e-mail address or phone number with your submission so we can contact you and let you know if we plan to use what you've shared with us in one of our shows or a post.

To send your how-to images and videos through our WKYC app, all you have to do is open the app, and tap on the call to action near the top of your screen.

You'll see it in a bright orange bar, asking for your do-it-yourself moves.

From there, you can select your photo or video right from your phone, write a short description so we know what we're looking at, and hit submit.

When your submission has gone through, you'll see the word "Success" pop up in the app, and you'll know it's been sent to us and is awaiting review by our team.

You can also text photos and descriptions to us at (216) 344-3300.
