Mom Squad: How much is too much when it comes to extra activities for your kids?

With back to school season, that means extra curriculars and sports kick into gear. But overscheduling could be counterproductive.

CLEVELAND — It’s the time of year when after school activities ramp up, sports kick into full gear and you’re looking for things to do with the kids on weekends. 

But how much is too much? 

We asked our Mom Squad how many activities they have their kids participating in and they weigh in on what’s good for them.

Also, we got expert advice from Dr. Kimberly Bell with the Hanna Perkins Center in Shaker Heights. She explains why it’s OK -- even beneficial -- to limit the number of activities for your child.
