Senior Spotlight: Grace Dudziak

Say congratulations to this Wellington High senior!

LORAIN, Ohio — It's been a hard time for high school seniors, so WKYC Studios wants to give them the recognition they deserve with not just a shout out, but a spotlight.

Meet Grace Dudziak.

She went to Wellington High School in Lorain, where she played many sports like soccer, track, basketball, even football. Dudziak is the first woman kicker in history  on the school's varsity football team. She's been dubbed "Amazing Grace." Her track season was cut short due to COVID-19.

If that's not enough girl power, Dudziak wants to join the ROTC as a nurse after college. She plans to attend the University of Toledo, and join the ROTC for several years once she graduates. During her time at UT, she hopes to walk on to the university football team.

Congrats Grace!
