MENTOR, Ohio — The Lake County Humane Society is normally closed on Wednesdays, but will be open until 5 p.m. Wednesday in effort to help its animals find homes.
A recent humane case resulted in 69 animals being brought to the humane society for care. The animals are now ready for adoption.
All adult cats have a $25 adoption fee. The humane society is knocking $25 off adoption fees for adult dogs.
The Lake Humane Society is located at 7564 Tyler Boulevard in Mentor.
